Light Pollution by Tony Pena

When the nights are fat
a tent I pitch on the face 
of a clock but the poles
get kicked out by moving
hands and I have to scurry
before I go all flat earth 
under the weight of dead 
stars and trolled wishes.




Tony Pena was selected as 2017-2018 Poet Laureate for the city of Beacon, New York.
