Easter Egg Hunt By Sharon Waller Knutson

All dressed up 

in bonnets,

crinoline, 

and patten leather

at two and five

my sister and I find

hidden 

in the back yard

a dozen colored

eggs and two 

bottles

which mama

snatches 

out of our baskets

and pours

the stinking liquid

that smells

like daddy

down the drain.
