Sinners and Heathens. by Tissy Taylor

Forever I’m riding
This train track to heaven
The boxcar is full
Of sinners and heathens
My old memories
Like coal fires burning
Yesterday is over
Tomorrow ain’t coming
Will you bring me your Peace
Troubled waters run deep
A lifetime of running
I want only to sleep
Let rest my tired eyes
And weep my weary soul
I beg for forgiveness
Til mercy brings me home
