Old Fashioned versus Old-Fashioned: Recipes for the Drink and the Type by Jeannie E. Roberts

1.

combine sugar cube
dash of bitters with one teaspoon water
mix well
add two ounces blended whiskey
stir
include ice cubes
garnish with citrus rind
top with cherry
serve with swizzle stick
imbibe with smile


2.

combine pride
dash of disfavor with one teaspoon avoidance
mix well
add two ounces blended bias
stir
include insularity
garnish with guise
top with rigidity
serve with love
kindness
compassion
forgiveness
abide with smile
