Twice or More a Night by Tony Pena


You know you’re old
when the wet dream
loop rewound a million
times before winds
up in a darkness
you can’t quite place ,
your bladder tickling
penile nerves till you
twist like Oliver about
to piss in a bowl
of porridge begging
for a bathroom key.





Tony Pena was selected as 2017-2018 Poet Laureate for the city of Beacon, New York.
