Plum Crazy by Mike Zone

T’was a plum, plum
red plum- downhearted
purple plum- sweet n’ dribblin’ juicy
dried plum- prune ecstasy
slick smooth skin
fruit meat tendrils

rejuvenation teeth
seed at the center

hanging
water and dirt
don’t a living bring us
what we want
dust of days
being plum
plum dandy, plum mordant, plum pleased
