Imaginary Hells Burn by Scott Simmons

Real writing isn’t pretty.
but even fictional people can still make you cry.

Since all the pain you had before never left.

It only festers until you can’t stand to be silent anymore.
Or you need to imagine what you can’t have.

I only wish I’ve forgotten how.
