Dope Sick. By Mickey J.Corrigan

Your wrists pulse with living
on some razor edge
you hold over yourself
This is what the world fears
You plunge in deep
your life fading behind
like dim memories
a film you once saw
This is the distillation
No matter how many skies
fall no matter how many
futures lost no matter
what the cost no
matter what, you
want this life
the pain
it causes
everyone else
