 The mysteries of blackbirds and
their entanglement in so much of life's meanings

 How best to use a mind of winter
and that the only emperor is of ice-cream

the most wonderful sense now

Steven Croft is an Army veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and lives on a barrier island off the coast of Georgia on a property lush with vegetation. His work has appeared in online and print journals, most recently in Ariel Chart, The New Verse News, and Quaci Press Magazine.
