Roommates and Lovers By Ivan Jenson

Like the way
you always say "like"
as if nothing is
any more real
than a movie
and how you
move me
from room to room
following your moods
and chasing your future
as if we could ever get past
the cursing moments written
in cursive sound waves midair
before you flipped your hair
flippantly as if you
could care less
and were probably
just bored
anyway, this is
the only love
life we can afford
