GRAVITATIONAL PULL by Scott C. Kaestner

eat a shroom
smoke a joint
sing a song
read a poem
try to think
differently today
than yesterday
evolve or
deconstruct
not sure which
one day
to the next
earth is rotating
so just don’t
get used to
the same ole
same ole or
risk becoming
a dinosaur
and extinction is
no laughing matter.

Scott C. Kaestner is a Los Angeles poet, writer, dad, husband, and man who believes in the therapeutic nature of a day at the beach. Google “scott kaestner poetry” to peruse his musings and doings.
