IF ONLY GUNS FIRED ROSES By Scott C. Kaestner


If when your spare tire goes flat

that’s reason enough 

to ditch your wheels

and walk your ass

into the nearest bar

drink away your blues

flush your shitty luck

down with ice cold beer 

and a coupla’ tequila chasers

to chase away what’s left

of a wasted day still wasted

now in a new less memorable way.
