pictures make great liars By Christiana Sasa

framed attempt

to make things appear

refined sunlight

contrasting charred reality

glossy dreams

suffocated and strangled

ancient tales

written in blood and

unheard screams

determined to lie

Christiana Sasa has been writing poetry for about four years. Her work has been published in the literary magazines Poetry Life and Times, Literary Heist, Eskimo Pie, Rye Whiskey Review etc. and in two E-zines called Dark Poetry Society and RavenCage.
