traveling

this place

and the next

feeling lost

while running

out of shadows

in the chest

of night

remembering

unfinished fires

and tattooed

broken hearts

covering imperfections

while learning

from wounds

knowing finally

jazz is a gift

and every town

looks the same

after midnight
