MOMMY, CAN I HAVE COCA COLA WITH MY DEMOCRACY? by Steven Storrie

400 children lay in unmarked graves
While the President sips his Coke
Your Starbucks will bear it away
Cold Frappuccino really chills the rape
I eat alone at a North Korea banquet
Read my smuggled paper
A story about child abuse
Nestled nicely next to one
About who Prince Harry is officially fucking now.

Steven Storrie is the author of four poetry collections, including 'Yours Sincerely, Axl Rose', published through Weasel Press, and a short story collection, '4pm In Los Angeles', published by DevilHouse Press. A novella, 'Drinking With Ulysses S Grant', will be published later this year, along with another new collection of short stories.
Also a novella Northern Sunset . His work is available on Amazon and all the other, usual dark corners of the globe.
